We invite you to participate in the international scientific conference “Political Institutions and Institutional Interactions in Times of War and in the Post-War Period: Ukrainian, European, and Global Dimensions”, organized within the framework of the international conference series “Political Parties and Elections: Ukrainian and Global Practices” (in memory of Yuriy Shveda), jointly hosted by the Department of Political Science of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv and the Center for Political Studies in Lviv.

Yuriy Romanovych Shveda (1964–2016) was an Associate Professor and Doctoral Researcher at the Department of Political Science of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv until 2016. He was a prominent Ukrainian political scientist, specialist in party politics and electoral studies, as well as a political theorist and practitioner. He authored academic courses including History and Theory of Political Parties, Party Politics, Psephology, Political Communication, Communication Theory, Parties and the Party System of Ukraine, Party Systems of the World, Election Campaign Technologies, Fundamentals of Democracy, and others.
