The collection of articles and abstracts was prepared based on the materials of the international scientific conference “Party-Electoral Processes and Political-Institutional Relations in the Context of the Russian-Ukrainian War and the Global Development Crisis: Ukrainian, European, and Global Dimensions” — the ninth in the series of international conferences “Political Parties and Elections: Ukrainian and Global Practices” (in memory of Yuriy Romanovych Shveda), organized and held by the Department of Political Science of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv and the Center for Political Studies in Lviv on November 15–16, 2024.
The collection is organized into thematic sections. It highlights recent trends in electoral processes and party politics, features of the functioning of political institutions, parties, and civil society organizations, as well as prospects for Ukraine’s European integration. Attention is given to the analysis of political processes in EU countries and Ukraine, challenges of democratization under conditions of war and uncertainty, and issues of countering threats. The collection aims to foster a deeper understanding of contemporary political processes and transformations in Ukraine and worldwide.
